The mission of the Commerce Chamber is to improve the businesses and economic prosperity in the Klang Valley and the Nation. The activities of a chamber of commerce can vary. Visitors (local or foreign) can also contact us about a program, service or question that is covered by another organization. A Chamber of commerce is a business membership organization.
Goals of a chamber:
Improve the business climate and the economic standing in the country, typically through advocacy, networking and business development programs.
Companies join a chamber of commerce to increase their organization’s visibility and invest in the future of their community.
The KL Malay Commerce Chamber is the largest and oldest chamber of commerce in Malaysia, and we helped build the Malaysian economy through promoting collaborations and helping member’s business grow.
There are more than 100 chambers of commerce (similar) operating at the local, regional, state and national level in Malaysia. Each of these organizations is incorporated and operated separately, rather than as a chapter or franchise of some larger network of organizations. While KLMCC may partner with other local chambers throughout the area on various issues, the Chamber is not tied to any other local chamber directly.
