MISSION

The Kuala Lumpur Malay Chamber Of Commerce is a business-driven leadership organization improving the quality of business community through the development of regional economic prosperity.

Objectives of KLMCC

  1. To form and create a business association at national and state level for the interests and benefits of the Malay business community and professionals.
  2. To unite and solidify the Malay business community and professionals in the interest of the Malay economy.
  3. To guarantee and protect the interest of its Members in relation to any type of commercial laws or business regulations formulated or amended in Malaysia.
  4. To ensured that the activities of KLMCC and its associate’s members are in line with the Chamber’s objectives and foundations.
  5. To publish magazines and brochures of business interests.
  6. To represent and provide assistance to its Members in trade discussions, purchasing, sales, marketing and others whether in or outside Malaysia.
  7. To establish scholarship funds, trust funds and other welfare funds for its members. The Chamber will also establish other types of funds when necessary to help and assist other Bumi associations, foundations and individuals in need.
  1. To establish relations and cooperation with other associations and societies this shares the same objectives and values with KLMCC. Issuing Certificate of Origins or any other certificates for goods being exported from Malaysia.
  2. To buy, sell, lease, mortgage, own, rent, transfer, develop or engage in other forms of transactions which involve land, property or shares.
  3. To build or acquire buildings for the Chamber’s use and interest.
  4. To borrow or acquire funds for the Chamber’s use and interest.
  5. To conduct research for development and to recommend any action plans or procedures this is deemed necessary or beneficial to all or any of the Chamber’s objectives.
  6. To establish a Foundation for welfare, education, training, management and skills development in the fields of economics and commerce.
  7. To carry out any kind of task or whatever actions necessary other than those mentioned above for the smooth running of the Chamber and of other States Chambers in the interest of the Malay economy.

The Role of KLMCC

  1. To encourage active participation from Malay entrepreneurs and professionals in Wilayah Persekutuan as members and / or providing support in creating a strong and solid association.
  2. To identify, act and mobilize on all the necessary resources in creating a force that can make possible an action that is complete, encompassing and long lasting.
  3. Establishing and setting up action committees and machineries to help increase the productivity and quality of the Bumiputras in business transactions.
  4. Planning strategies and carrying out effective programs that will increase and strengthen the accomplishments of its members and the Malay community in general.
  5. To create a climate that will be able to promote the development of a dynamic, reputable and responsible breed of Bumiputra entrepreneurs of international standards.
  6. To embark, formulate and perform whatever tasks, activities and actions that are appropriate in achieving the objectives of KLMCC and MCCM.
